Romans 10:12-21
There is nothing better than hearing good news from a faithful friend. It can change the course of your whole day, your attitude, your outlook, and even the direction of your own life. We never hold back from sharing good news with our friends. Good news is always welcome!
Paul quotes the prophet Isaiah in Romans 10, “‘How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!’” (Romans 10:14). Just as the Israelites needed to hear good news, people today need to hear what God has for us. The person who brings the good news of Christ introduces others to Jesus—and that is life-changing!
Sometimes, it can be difficult or even intimidating to talk to someone about sin, salvation, and the gospel. We worry about what people will think, or if they will reject us or the message. Paul is quick to remind us that this life-changing good news must be shared. The only way someone will ever have the chance to receive this news, is if the news is given away to everyone: no matter the color, gender, tradition, and cultural background.
The good news of Jesus is for all.
