2 Corinthians 2:12—3:6

After more than an hour attempting to resuscitate the infant girl, the medical team at the hospital in Papua, New Guinea, watched in dismay as her heartbeat continued to slow. She was barely breathing. Dr. Scott Dooley shook his head as he sadly told the parents they had done everything possible. Unless God performed a miracle, their baby was not going to live. He held the hands of those grieving parents and prayed. Then he left to care for other patients.

To the amazement of the nurses and parents the tiny infant clung to a minuscule thread of life. Her shallow breathing was barely perceptible. But when Dr. Dooley returned a few hours later he rejoiced to find their prayers had been answered. She was not only still alive–her heart rate was normal! She moved her arms and even crying faintly. It was a miraculous answer to prayer.

Still, our greatest joy is witnessing a lost soul, dying without Jesus, embracing his grace. What a blessing to watch the knowledge of sins forgiven and new life of joy, peace, and hope flood across their faces.

Praise God for lives changed, alters filled, tears shed, and testimonies shared. Thank you Lord for the touch of the Spirit and a move of revival that came yesterday to CTN.

“What a blessing to watch the knowledge of sins forgiven and new life of joy, peace, and hope flood across their faces.”
