He Is Near To You

Philippians 4:1-9.
Just this week, my wife said to me, “Sometimes, you can be so immature!” So, I stuck my tongue out at her, just to prove her point. The truth is attitude proves Christian maturity! Ephesians 4:23 invites us “to be made new in the attitude of your minds.”
Jesus did not die on the cross to keep us safe. Jesus died on the cross to make us dangerous–dangerous to the devil. However, we are dangerous to the kingdom when we have a rotten attitude!
Christianity and pessimism cannot go together. There are two basic types of people in the world: complainers and worshipers: Complainers can always find something to complain about and worshipers can always find something to praise God about. Attitude proves Christian maturity.
It takes an orange tree seven years to bear fruit once it is planted. Attitude, however, produces immediate fruit! It also produces lasting fruit. Your attitude impacts others; it will truly outlive and outlast you. The Lord is near. Why not rejoice?

“The truth is attitude proves Christian maturity.”
Attitudes change to positive when we actually feel God with us. To experience the Holy Spirit, we have to have been born again (John 3:3) and “intentionally” allow the Holy Spirit to renew our mind (Romans 12:2).
In reference to being born again:
The Holy Spirit works on the heart whereas THE WORD can be heard as the Father draws. (Isaiah 57:15) (Romans 10:17)
A seed in Christ is carried within when one starts questioning the truth of Jesus. (Personal testimony)
A seed is germinated with acceptance of Jesus as one’s Savior. (Personal testimony)
Gestation period is determined by “personal choice” regarding a search for answers to those questions. (Personal testimony)
A babe in Christ is born when the water (Holy Spirit) breaks through. (Personal testimony)
Pain & labor occur (Disbelief – our human nature – fights draw)
