Eager To Tell

Luke 2:13-20
Some things are just too important to keep to ourselves! Jesus came as God and from God to provide for us the opportunity to live in a relationship with our faithful heavenly Father forever. Are we eager to tell that truth to the world?
Jesus came in hopes that we might develop an everlasting relationship with the faithful heavenly Father–forever. We can have a relationship with God today as a result of Jesus coming to dwell among us. Do you? Are you eager to tell that truth to the world?
First John 3:1 celebrates why Jesus came, “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!” God himself–the God we worship and the God to whom we owe everything is no distant and aloof God, too busy running the cosmos to give us the time of day, but rather God is a loving, caring, and compassionate Father. A daddy who is willing to immediately respond the very instant that we call on his name.

“Are we eager to tell that truth to the world?”
The “Parable of the Great Banquet” (Luke 14:16-24) lets us know that invited people will make all sorts of excuses.
It further gives us additional witnessing priorities in:
The poor—those in “immediate need” (emotionally, spiritually, & physically)
The Crippled – those disabled by circumstances beyond their control
The Blind – those physically &/or spiritually blind
The Lame – those limping physically (or spiritual from God to satan)
