Taking The Good With The Bad

Job 2:7-10
It has been said that behind every good man there’s a good woman. That might be true, but Mrs. Job isn’t very helpful to her husband is she? Take a look at Job as he continues to maintain his composure. He doesn’t criticize his wife. There’s no snippy rebuttal. Considering what Job is going through, doesn’t she deserve to be told a thing or even two? In the midst of his oozing skin and pain, he replies to her doubtful spirit with a very positive question for her to ponder. She’s a fortunate woman.
How many of us give up on God at the very time we need him most? How many of us think of God as the dispenser of blessing? Job makes a good point. He gives all of us food for thought. In the face of adversity do you question God?
Here’s the point, does God have your “permission” to do whatever he wants with you? Do you trust him that much? Job did. Who do you want to be like: trusting Job or his doubting wife?

Blessing to All…… I am very Blessed…..
