A Full House

Luke 14:15-24
Little Men is a best-selling novel for young people. Written by Louisa May Alcott, this book tells the story of the March family who invited unwanted children into their home. The big house at Plumfield became a haven for orphans and the homeless. Throughout the book, Jo March and her husband, Professor Baer, accepted all children in need. They wanted a full house.
God also wants a full house. He invites people from every race, every country, and every demographic to fill up his kingdom home. Jesus compared it to a banquet where all were invited. Unfortunately, some people chose to RSVP with excuses. So God invited all the ordinary people. He wanted as many as possible to taste the rich foods at his table. He ordered every chair filled and every plate overflowing.
We are all welcome to come and fill up his house.
