In That Day

Isaiah 26:1-9
There is a day coming when God’s enemies will be defeated (Isaiah 24). On that day His faithful ones will rejoice. “The Lord Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples,” “He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth” (25:6, 8). What a day!
God, who knows the end from the beginning, looks into the future. He brings back hope for those who long to see sin defeated and His name exalted. That day is as certain as tomorrow’s sunrise. “In that day they will say, ‘Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the Lord, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation’” (25:9).
On that day a song will be sung. It will be a song of salvation, a song of welcome, a song of peace and trust. We wait for that day with yearning in our hearts. Others may not see it, but that day is coming. All hearts should tremble and be prepared.

I wonder if that reference should be Isaiah 25.
