Never Separated From God’s Love

Romans 8:31-39
Some friends were in the Caribbean enjoying the breathtaking views of the sea from a boat. One of the men peered into the crystal-clear water and saw the sea floor. He dove into the water, wanting to touch the bottom. What he didn’t realize was the bottom was forty feet below. He turned around and kicked and pulled with all his might to get back to the surface for air. He was surprised by the ocean’s depth.
We could imagine God’s love as vast and as deep as the oceans. With the eyes of our heart can we see the glass-like clarity of God’s love that is so transparent and genuine? When we go through a deep, dark time in our life, may we turn to the depth of God’s love for us. God, who has entered into solidarity with our own pain through Jesus, knows us and our situation. God desires for you to be in communion with Him in Jesus through the Holy Spirit.
