God Is Amazing

Habakkuk 3:1-11
When was the last time you felt awe?
Maybe you’re thinking about a sunset at the ocean or holding your child or grandchild for the first time. Maybe you’re considering a beautiful mountain or a pristine lake. All of those things are wonderful, and each one fills us with wonder and awe.
But when was the last time you stood in awe because it was Tuesday or because it rained or because you had a bad day? Friends, the reason that awe is an appropriate response to every day is because God is present in the good and the bad, the mountains and the valleys, the celebration and the grief. Recognizing that the God of the universe is with us in our moment by moment life is enough to fill us with awe.
God is amazing! The rest of the world will know Him by the way we react to the everyday stuff of life. Have a tough day, season, or year? You can still respond with awe of God’s goodness. No matter what comes your way, God is awesome and is worthy of your awe.
