The Power of God

Acts 1:1-11
Have you ever looked for something deeper in your relationship with God than just being saved from hell? Have you ever thought about what it could look like if you excelled in your Christian walk? Maybe you thought that, but you also knew your life past failures, mistakes, sins, and habits.
God had a plan for humanity that was bigger than just grabbing “fire insurance” before we have leave this life. His way forward is bigger than merely plodding through life bogged down by our shortcomings! Some of the last words of Jesus let us know that the story is bigger than we thought. Real life-changing, life-altering, life-sustaining power is available to disciples of Jesus!
How many of us would love power in us that is far greater than us? This power came when the disciples intentionally sought God together for many days.
Life-changing power is available to us through the person of the Holy Spirit if we are willing to passionately and prayerfully pursue the relationship.
