Luke 6:27-42

Find the difference puzzles can be an entertaining way to spend some time and sharpen your skills of observation. It could take you a while to discern where every difference is. Once you’ve found them all, you can sort the objects into two categories: the correct picture and the incorrect picture.

As humans we do this so easily: separate people into “correct” and “incorrect” categories. Some of those in the “incorrect” column may simply be different from us. There are people, however, who fall into the “incorrect” column who have hurt us: our enemies.

Jesus said that loving those who love us (people in the “correct” column) is nothing—even the sinners do that. What makes Christ-followers different is that they love even their enemies (people in the “incorrect” column). A super-human feat, you say? No. It is possible only by the grace of God. Only those who fully lean into God’s grace can fully embrace God’s love and be transformed into citizens of the kingdom who love even their enemies.
