Presence Or Promises

Psalm 125:1-5
What would happen if our mindset was that more than the promises of God I want the presence of God? We all love the promises of God and want to experience them: “His peace in the midst of the storm,” “When great temptation comes He will provide a way out,” “Perfect love drives out fear,” “More than conquerors,” “His protection,” or “I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.” How often do we ask God to do in our lives what He has promised?
However, what if instead of asking for His promises, we became desperate for God’s presence and that is what we sought? Scripture tells us if we seek Him with all of our heart He will be found. What would happen if we made Jesus the hub of our life, where everything in our life revolved around Him and what He wanted for our relationships, our challenges, and our hurts? What if we sought Him, His presence, with all of our hearts? We would experience the promises and blessings of God.
