Silent Witness to Mistrust

June 18th, 2012

RG AUDIO 061812Genesis 31:43-55

Robert Frost’s poem “Mending Wall” pictures neighbors repairing a stone wall between their fields. Frost’s character wonders why the wall, which requires constant maintenance, is even necessary. The neighbor replies, “Good fences make good neighbors.”

Mizpah, another heap of stones, marked an agreement between two men who could never trust each other–Jacob and Laban. Both were shrewd scoundrels who could stretch the truth like salt water taffy. They had “history,” and most of it was not good. Mizpah witnessed their covenant that neither would cross to the other’s side.

Every fence, every wall, every lock, every contract, every law, every nation’s army is a testimony to our fallen nature. Since we cannot find security in ourselves, we seek to guarantee it by force or law.

Jesus Christ has given us a “ministry of reconciliation” (2 Cor. 5:18). In Jesus, every barrier will one day be torn away.

After one year and 2 months going to The Nazareno Emmanuel Church at San Antonio, TX. Sadly we have to leave that church because the liders od that church are not avilable to encorage each others to apply the RECONCILIATION when someone has disrespect other sister in Christ of that church.

The problem is there are too much pastor’s FAMILY there, so if you go agains ONE you go agains ALL the church.

That’s why, all the membresy are the same, some new coming but just like US we do not count for them, is not a rightgeness, and if we tray to say something to the Superintendent, he will do nothing because HE is family too.

We going to say bye to the Church next sunday, and move on.

We thankful with our Lord Jesus because My husband had the oportunity 2 times to preaching there, also my 8 years son dis preach there and my 2 little daugthers sang, and I preach at the Women Conference at May 2012. We did our part, give more in one year than others.

All we want is to next time liders do NOT take sides when their own family are involved but DO the right thing and bring to RECONCILIATION even if their family are doing wrong they have to admite it and apologize.
