Derl had the privilege of going on several tours with senior adults. They toured England, Greece, and Turkey. Each tour featured a guide who rode with them on the buses. They told them about the local areas. The guides were hired for their knowledge of the country and the sites visited.

Jesus said He would send the Holy Spirit to be our guide to all truth. The definition of truth includes words and thoughts like honesty, integrity, actuality, or conformity with fact or reality. The Holy Spirit will guide us to an honest lifestyle, free from lies and falsehood. He will direct us to integrity. We will not sacrifice our core values of life. The Spirit will lead us to moral, ethical, and spiritual behavior that is verified by God’s Word.

O.W. Holmes says, “Truth is tough. It will not break, like a bubble, at a touch; nay, you may kick it about all day, like a football, and it will be round and full in the evening.”
